Nicu is co-lead of the OpenOffice.org Romanian Native Language Project. Also, he is one of the main developers of the Open Clip Art Library and one of the initators of the CREATE Project, a new initiative which intends to create a collaborative space for various creative FOSS applications.

He is located in Bucharest, Romania and has his own OpenOffice.org dedicated subsite and a Fedora subsite.
