Plone is a popular open source, component based, Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).
Notes: Plone 2.1, 2.5 and 3.0 require AROfficeTransforms from plone collective. Plone 3.5 will include it natively.

Plone is a CMS. It handles many formats, and manage them based on a component approach. OpenDocument files are handled by components, and are stored in native format.
Plone integration allows to store OpenDocument files, preview them into plone in xhtml, edit them into an opendocument editor (OpenOffice.org or Koffice for example), save the document and have the result automatically uploaded back into Plone.
Plone handles full text indexing, dynamic search and dynamical classification.
OpenOffice support via AROfficeTransforms has been added by atReal.
